3 Products Complete a Sophisticated, Flexible Workplace

Workplace design is going through radical transformations. Residential influences permeate contemporary office design and co-working spaces. Interior Design Magazine sheds light on three products from Andreu World that are playing a role in this design transformation.

Andreu World, a purveyor of stylish furnishings for over 60 years, is one of the leading brands in this new paradigm, regularly coming out with new products that reflect an innate understanding of what the future of workplace design will look like. “The office has become a space in which one lives and coexists—a place that is transformed according to the needs of its occupants throughout the workday,” explains Jesús Llinares, CEO. “It is more and more common today for furniture to transcend the idea of a single use or environment.”

The Nuez Collection

Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola introduced the Nuez collection, winner of a Red Dot Award and Interior Design HiP Award, as a group of chairs and stools that serve the sitter. “A chair has a personality and engenders emotional relationships with its users and owners,” Urquiola says. She designed the piece with a graceful back made of ribbed thermopolymer and ample padding. Both the stool and the dining chair are perfect crossover options, equally at home in a boardroom, restaurant, or home.
